A story:

Ever since I was 18 and legally able to do so, I've been buying lottery tickets like the gambling ho I am. Let's just admit it - I am addicted to gambling. Reno, Shreveport, New Orleans, Vegas.. bring it on, darlings. BRING IT ON.

We don't have casinos in Texas, but we have lottery tickets. I've won up to $100 on these tickets before, but today, I think I just about broke even.

It was at a Chevron in Grapevine where I bought the ticket. I paid $20 for the ticket because I felt like going a little nuts. I got in the car, took a nickel and rubbed off the first part of the ticket. It was revealed that I had, just from one little section of the ticket, won $400. It was then, of course, that I started losing my shit.

Well, $4000 later I am a happy woman. I can actually pay off all my bills with this money, and I can totally and completely be DEBT FREE. Yes, that is what I said.. DEBT FREE. Wow, that will be a nice feeling.

So I'm freaking out a little right now. Money! Lots of it! Me and the Texas Lottery are now even with each other, and right now I want to say that I'm not going to ever buy another ticket, but I have a gambling problem, so I don't think I can make that promise.
